The Backrooms movie reminded me of Silent hill 2,,
#myart#chloesimagination#comic#silent hill#silent hill 2#james sunderland#maria silent hill#pyramid head#clark backrooms#captain clark#backrooms#the backrooms#backrooms movie#so I saw the backrooms movie and I loved it!#I wasn’t sure what to expect exactly going in despite seeing Kane’s YouTube series#but u was really pleasantly surprised with the direction of the movie#especially with how the backrooms seemingly work#it remembers everything from your past#every place ever exists in there#and I like how with that premise the backrooms formed around Clark’s mind#rebuilding his home his store etc#down to rebuilding himself and his wife how he remembers her#I love how Clark isn’t a good person but a complicated one#it personally gave me a lot of the things I loved about silent hill 2#James and Clark are like two sides of the same coin#silent hill the town works similarly of showing your past back to you#obviously this is a simplification of both silent hill and backrooms#but either way I do love it#psychological horror my beloved
