Things to do
-pull out a new notebook and start collecting information about a new hobby you’re getting into
-video games (switch, Xbox, PlayStation)
-retro games (SNES, N64, old gameboy, Nintendo DS, an emulator)
-itch.io (free indie games) and other online platforms
-go to a park w swings slides and stuff to climb
-buy some magazines and spend a day reading them and watching your favorite show for the millionth time
-play solitaire (I just bought a new deck of cards that’s Disney Princess themed and they’re so pretty!) I bet there are other card games to play
-play a solo ttrpg (I bought one called solitaria a while ago and I still haven’t played) (role playing games are usually for groups, like dungeons and dragons, but there are so many cool solo ones!)
-study a random topic you find interesting
-go for a walk (bonus: take a picture of something red orange yellow green blue purple, or just document your journey)
-make a random PowerPoint presentation on something you know too much about (or are learning about!)
-organize something in your home (drawers cabinets books movies etc)
-crochet or knit (I like to make hats, but woobles kits are great too)
-take pictures!!! (I like to think I know how to take a good picture lol but I could def stand to learn more, I’ll prob research it)
-a quick workout (maybe following a YouTube video)
-read a good book of fiction & get lost in a world
-make art out of old used magazine you don’t need anymore
-watch a movie that you can quote the whole thing and try to not say any lines with the dialogue lol
-read nonfiction (self help or self improvement books, or specific topics that interest you; I’m reading one about string theory)
-use an online maze generator and print a few out to do
-word searches or sudoku or brain game puzzles
-collage a vision board
-build a blanket fort! deck it out w pillows blankets fairy lights and the works
-LEGO building
-do a puzzle! It doesn’t have to be 1000 pieces either, start small
-find a writing prompt and write something
-find a new recipe and make it, then make it again and get better at it
-pick a theme and build your day around it
