I’d be lying if I said my favorite friendship/forever OTP wasn’t also Taishiro(u) [ Taichi x Koushiro(u) (Izzy) ] ... though I’ve also already done some photosets with them such as this one However, as a friendship specifically, ( but also as a ship / WLW OTP ) SORA + MIMI have MY HEART as well and ALWAYS HAVE since I first saw (particularly) the 2nd half of Adventure*. (*I originally started on the U.S. dub, but since felt the same after viewing the Japanese version of the whole series in full!) Tri only helped this love of their friendship/love become stronger with the small yet lovely moments for them spread in-between, tbh. (see: Tri Movie 5 bits!) The thing with Sora+Mimi, however, is I also love various headcanons for them. For me, they can work wonderfully and beautifully as lovers or close/platonic friends. ... and as someone who grew up and remains very gender non-conforming ( read as: like Sora especially ) I find this, and their relationship, INCREDIBLE. “ Say, Sora-san. I think it was destiny that we were chosen to be the Chosen Children. BUT I DON’T THINK     IT WAS     F A T E . I’m going to BE MYSELF and do things FREELY. That’s why YOU should spread your WINGS F R E E L Y, TOO. A “new” Digimon Adventure CD single will be released at DigiFes 2019, showcasing new official artwork of Taichi & Sora with their Digimon! (All the songs currently included are actually older recorded songs from the first two series, Digimon Adventure and Digimon Adventure 02.)

The Digimon Music Producer also showed an image of the cover with a message, which you can read the translation of over here as well. (Possibly referring to the fact that both Taichi & Sora’s original seiyuu/voice actors, Toshiko Fujita and Yuuko Mizutani respestively, both have passed away since the recordings of these songs.)

It is listed as an early item, so the CD will be sold elsewhere (apparently).
