Working on A New Pokemon ROM Game!
I was bored for a good while today then I got smacked on the side of the head by inspiration so I streamed me editing Pokemon Emerald. It will be a game on a Pokemon Emerald ROM game, but it will be played differently. Instead of picking your starter from 3 pokemon, you go into the Starter Zone (just like the Safari zone, only you get 1 master ball and you will be able to catch 3 pokemon+a secret pokemon if you get the 1%) and find a pokemon you will want to have as your starter (which the catchable pokemon will remain a secret) and as you get more HM’s throughout the game, the further you will be able to go into the Starter Zone, unlocking more and more kinds of catchable pokemon that you can’t catch anywhere else. I do need help with this though. I need someone who knows how to do scripts and has at least basic knowledge of Advance Map. You see, I want to move your first rival battle from Route 103 to Route 121 or at least to Lilycove City. If you can explain how to do this or offer to help me with this project, that would be amazing. Later on, I will put out multiple demo’s and if you want to recommend me something to put in the game, feel free to let me know! I want to make this a Pokemon game where you can challenge mostly any gym in any order while figuring out what is happening in the following region (which I still need to create a name for, but for now it is all in Hoenn). Eventually, the region route’s will change bit by bit, with some pokemon that were not available in the hoenn region, challenging trainers, and I am making sure that the Elite 4 will be tough, Especially the champion.
