I've been rewatching Harry Potter pretty much on a loop for a while, switching b/t that and Avengers movies, bc I'm bored, and I realized something.
In GOF the Moody Harry meets is Barty Crouch Jr. Right? So Harry has never actually met Moody, he only met the imposter. Which is why Remus is on the Advanced Guard in the books, someone Harry knows and trusts, so why they decided to take Remus out in the movies is beyond me.
Imagine, your in your room, you hear people outside, you know Voldemort is back, and the first person you see is THE PERSON WHO MANIPULATED YOU SO VOLDEMORT COULD RETURN!! And then a bunch of other people you've never met met before telling you they were taking you to safety.
REMUS NEEDED TO BE THERE AS SOMEONE HARRY KNOWS AND TRUSTS BC THIS IS JUST MORE PROOF THAT HARRY IS A DUMB ASS!! They're just pretending that this Mad Eye is the same one from the movie before and it's not... AT ALL they've never met!!!
