The Immortal Karl Roy
On March 13, 2012 I woke up and went about my daily routine of checking my Facebook updates and was sadden to read similar posts about Karl Roy. He passed away.
Karl, is a Filipino rock singer for bands Advent Call, P.O.T., and Kapatid. He was an icon to every rock fan and a big brother to all other musicians in the industry. He was a master of his craft, a true artist among few.
This is a man who believed in music even when nobody else did. Karl eats, sleeps, and breathes music. You would normally hear Karl during interviews talking about the music industry and giving out advice for aspiring musicians everywhere. Sure he was known as one who lived life on the edge but nobody ever questioned his love and passion for music.
Karl unselfishly gave his whole life to music. He went all out to entertain fans and gave them a piece of his heart every single time. With this being said, I'm pretty sure Karl Roy will live forever in the hearts of everyone.
