The Adventurous Spirit
How can one expect to survive in the wilderness in this day and age? We have adapted a lifestyle saturated in secureness and conformity. The human spirit has dwindled down to a life of comfort.
Should we sit idle and watch time pass as we grow grey hairs? Look at all of the wondrous nature around us! Mountains, hills, rivers, seas, oceans, forests, jungles and desserts! How I yearn for such adventures.
The best thing we can do is feed our hunger for adventure.
This I say to you now: leave your home and start anew. Abandon the familiar and embark on a course of uncertainty . Don’t let your adventurous spirit die. Challenge it.
The worst thing to the human psyche is regret. A time will come when you can’t travel and see the world.
Think of all of the people you will meet on your journey! Yes, you wll miss old friends and family from time to time. However, if they truly love you, they will support your decisions and stay in contact during your travels.
The people you will meet shall broaden your scope of the secular. You will experience the vast personalities, beliefs and lifestyles of the world. You will find peace in those people.
