tired disposition , prompted to suddenly point somewhere nearby , out of the town’s reach . it was barren wasteland , but at least it was somewhere , somewhere ANYWHERE but that lame town . but then shouting , regaining her energy almost suddenly it seemed , now using her usual excited and slightly loud tone ,

SIGH... ❝ no, nikki --- that’s not... that’s not what i meant. ❞ the statement was deadpanned as he pinched the bridge of his nose, before proceeding to gesture and point the OTHER way, which was... not only OUT of the town, but it wasn’t barren wasteland, either.
in fact, it was another area that was separated from the town. it didn’t seem to be too far, but it wasn’t all that close at the same time. the tiny buildings were able to be seen through close inspection ; and when viewed, they actually appeared to be more interesting and lively then the area they were already residing in.
❝ i think there’s more to do way over there, plus i think there’s ?? some kind of shopping center or something like that ?? ❞ he rolls his eyes, arms now folded. ❝ it’s... a few blocks away but i mean --- at LEAST there will be air conditioner and... it’s way better than that fucking desert you suggested. ❞
