The Longest Day - On average (depending on road conditions) we would cover about 360km a day. Traveling at 60km/h, it would take us 8hours to cover this distance. After being delayed in #ethopia (visas) we had to make up of for lost time and #Sudan had the perfect conditions to do this. Traveling on 150cc scooters, we could not increase our speed, so we had to increase our distance per day. a Typical day in Sudan would be to wake up at sunrise, have a "roadside" breakfast, which would consist of biscuits and energy bars. After breakfast, we would hit the open road, stopping only for fuel, refreshments and a ice cold sprite.
