Alanna - The Song of the Lionness (all time child-hood favourite). I guess back-ups would be Emmeline Vance from Harry Potter (because she is Marauder's era and I one wrote in an RPG as her) and Artemis Fowl from Artemis Fowl (because he's awesome)

OMG Alanna!! I'm a Keladry fan myself but I love all TP's heroines. And I miss reading Artemis Fowl -I think I read until Opal Deception and then stopped. Very interesting character though.
