"You do realise that there is such a thing as air conditioning. It should keep you quite cool." He was still trying to figure out how this particular mundane had found him. Or more specifically, how he'd managed to find this particular time. The first time he stumbled upon the other he could tell he wasn't from this time period. It was why he'd scurried him off to the loft so that he could figure out a way of sending him home. There had to be a way. How, though, he wasn't certain. Portals didn't send people through time. Just from one place to another. And Magnus wasn't about to ask his father or one of the other demons for help. That would be opening up a door he couldn't close.  He was also avoiding his father for a reason. Which meant all of this was on him. "While I don't mind a beautiful, naked man in my loft, my clients might think otherwise."

"What gave that away?" A smirk pulled at her lips as she pulled her dual lightsabres from their spot on her lower back. It hadn't been easy to track this one down and the bounty on her alone was worth all the trouble she'd put her through. Now, she just needed to get her back to the one who'd requested her in the first place and get paid. Then she could put this nightmare behind her and focus on the next bounty. If she'd wanted more she would've put herself into the fight against the First Order. Ventress didn't. She'd seen what war did and the last thing she wanted was to put herself right in the middle of it again. Though, she might not have much of a choice if things kept going the way they were. Shoving it aside, she wasn't going to think about any of that. "The fact I'm here? The fact I'm sure you know why I'm here?"

"I'm not sure pretty is a word I'd use," he pointed out, offering a shy smile. In all honesty, it was the last word he would use when he described himself. Maybe before all of this it might've been a word Bucky used to use, but that had been another lifetime ago and he wasn't about to think about it. That man had died a long time ago and nothing was going to bring him or it back. At least now he had a new life, a better life and one that would allow him to do the things that his master had trained him for. And now Mos was training Rey for that life, too. She was that missing connection that they needed and with her by his side there was nothing they couldn't do together. Even more so now that they also had Kylo Ren training with them. Together they would be unstoppable. "Now, if we are talking about you…"

"Things going that well are they," she quipped, raising her eyebrows as a smirk pulled at her lips. This wasn't the little palace though when she'd first arrived she thought she was looking at the General. Only after spending time there did she realise that she wasn't looking at the man she'd been working for. Of course, it didn't stop her from looking for a way back. Her injuries were healed enough that she could start the slow walk back to the little palace. But then she started to wonder if she'd be taken back in or if she'd be seen as a spy for leaving. Yen wasn't sure what would happen and it was why she'd stayed there as long as she had. Eventually, though, she would need to return to the fight and help the General with his cause. "Or did I interrupt something of importance."

"Peggy?" His cheeks INSTANTLY felt hot and for a long moment he couldn't even look the other in the eye. He knew that she was a bit of a pistol, but that? There was no way he could prepare for something like that. Hell, he didn't even expect something like that from her. But there they were and for once he was grateful that none of the others were around. If Buck had been there he was certain the other would keep it going until his whole damn body matched his shield. Luckily, he wasn't and Steve knew he could breathe a little sigh of relief. Peggy would definitely point out the heat in his cheeks but she wouldn't do it the same way his best friend would do. Or maybe he'd get lucky and she hadn't noticed just how red her question made his cheeks. "I, uh — I mean — You — I don't —"

"What?! No, not at all," he quickly answered, grabbing his hands. How could he think TJ was something like that? He knew a little bit about his past and the hell he went through, but it wasn't going to change his opinion of him. Nor was it going to have him to think the worst. But how to get that through to him? He could tell him that all he wanted, but something told him that Teej wouldn't just believe his word. Especially since they were still figuring out what they were. If he were honest with himself, Steve loved the time they spent together. For once he felt more like him and less like the uniform, and he didn't want to lose that. But it wasn't up to him. All of this was up to TJ and if he couldn't convince him that he didn't think that all of it would most likely come to an end. "If anything, that's me, Teej. Not you. Never you."

          The slap comes as a small surprise to him, that is for sure. Whilst he was used to many things that came with the Detective, being slapped on the ass was certainly not one of them   ~   discounting that one time when she was acting more than a little bit odd with him. Lucifer being Lucifer, however, could not help the cheeky grin that was quick to tug on to his features in accompanying turn turning of his body to watch her as she walked away.    “   Detective! you spicy minx!  ”

"Not the only thing that's warm 'bout me," he teased in return, cocking his head as he smirked at the other. This situation was a bit odd if he were honest with himself. Given that he'd once worked for SHIELD he didn't think that someone like this, someone who seemed to be America's golden boy would want to connect himself with a thief. Not that he was complaining. Good looking blokes tended to be a weakness of his and he could admit that Rogers was rather easy on the eyes. Eames just wondered how long it would last until the bloke decided to either turn him in or ask him to leave. Either way he was enjoying all of this and he wasn't about to do something that might risk it all. Not when he was certain things might just be getting interesting. "More than welcome t'find out ifn you want."
