Behold! The official ref sheet of the Mythic Expert (more commonly known as M.E.), star of my How To Guides for Mythical Creatures post series! She is all prepped and ready for whatever mythic adventures (or everyday civil tasks) await!

COLOR SCHEME CALL FOR HELP BELOW CUT:

I sketched most of this over the last few months, but I finally got around to inking her so I can include her in my lineup for ArtFight in July. :D But that ALSO means I have to figure out colors . . . >.< So, this is an open call: If anyone seeing this post enjoys coming up with character color schemes, I am open to suggestions! (You can even use it like a coloring sheet!)

I'd like it to be practical/cohesive overall but also have some fun bright colors without looking like a jester. Her outfit is a combination of modern clothes (interchangeable t-shirts, a pair of study cargo pants, hoodie tied around waist, etc.) and traditional fantasy adventuring gear (capelet, steampunk goggles, sword, chainmail gorget, etc.) So a fair bit of brown leather and gray metal accents (steel-toed boots, hand guard plates, gorget), and the staff is a medium-brown wood, but the rest is pretty up in the air. I originally was going to have her be a brunette, but I'm kinda liking the idea of trying blonde now, and she's Caucasian (reasonably tan from being outdoors a lot).

If nobody has ideas, I'll muddle my way through it eventually, but I'm hopeful someone better at character design than me can help me shortcut the process XD; Thanks in advance if you want to help me out!

If you want to have an adventurer guild. Maybe not with that name, but it’s to get the meaning. Then a reason for it to be there could be something like this.

Back in the day merchants traveled between the cities to trade and sell whatever they could get their hands on. When they wasn’t at the market, they were at the tavern. When you’re out and about, a good story can be worth many beers. So all the young men who wanted to do more than farm and hunt rabbits, would swarm around the merchants when they came to town. Many came with them as apprentices while others headed out in the direction shown by them, while never having seen a map before. That was until a merchant got enough of never having peace at a tavern. He opened his own tavern in the capital and had a dedicated spot for requests. It quickly became popular, because now the merchants could just say, go to the capital if someone asked them for new work. They of course kept the best deals for themselves, but anything they didn’t want to deal with, went to the capital. It later split into a merchant and a hunter guild, but they always have tight bonds and a shared tavern.
