Over the weekend Coakley was VERY excited about me opening the kiln. Don't worry, it wasn't hot, it was about the same temperature as the porch. My grandma painted porcelain as one of her many hobbies. I've been slowly working some details on some of her unfinished projects. Towards the end of her life she struggled with the dry form of macular degeneration, so details were rough. Not-so-fun fact: genetics can play a role in this condition, which means there's a high probability of having the same issue later in like.
