Ben hcs:

the reason he takes so many pictures is he’s fascinated by people, why they do what they do. that’s why candids are so much better than posed pictures bc his subjects are acting the way they normally would, not putting on a mask or forcing something

he has always been extremely open about his sexuality (extremely bisexual). he knows what actresses have been topless in which films, but he can certainly appreciate an attractive man when he sees one *cough, perry, cough*

um, he doesn’t fucking die??? how about that

He meets Perry in college - I’d like to think Ben went just to get a goddamn degree, but along the way, he was fascinated by psychology (see 1st hc). he doesn’t end up pursuing it bc Ben’s not so much an academic person. he’s incredibly smart, but he just sees more value in experiences, in being out in the world, rather than going to school

for some reason, i think it would be really interesting if Ben spoke another language fluently bc he would switch between them mid-sentence, usually without realizing it, but sometimes just to mess with people
