Chloe, you're up," A stage hand said to her. Chloe adjusted her outfit and with her music in hand, she walked on stage. It was just a small set with a mic and grand piano. Taking a seat on the piano bench, the brunette fixed the distance between her feet to the pedal while making sure her legs were perpendicular to the ground. Chloe lowered the mic so it was leveled to her lips, then placing her fingers in the F major keys and began playing.

The notes went up and down as she stroked from key to key. Ballad was soft, but not even close to being a lullaby. It had more yearning. Chloe had a small smile as she sang. This was one of her favorite ballads after all. It spoke of hope of the future within love and peace. It felt just right to use a song that spoke of hope and a bright future. Her voice bright and clear with a delicate softness and thus she ended the ballad with it's final note. The sound of applause rang sound with a few whistles here and there. She stood up from the bench and bowed. Sitting back down, Chloe twisted the mic off the stand and looked towards the back to see the audio crew. They had given her the okay to speak.
"Hello," she said, "My name is Chloe. This next song is a modern contemporary piece. It's called 'Moonlight'. I hope you enjoy it." The brunette gave the audience a smile before putting the mic back on the stand. A tech member came up and took it away, just as she flipped her music book to find the score.
