Chase can't even remember how their friendship started actually, did they meet through Sera? Possibly. But the instant they met they hit it off pretty well and that was something he's thankful for. If there are people that can understand Chase's feelings and thoughts the most Kath would be one of the three people. There's multiple times where he's forever glad that they're still friends although they might not speak to each other as much anymore. But when they do speak with each other it seems like they never stopped talking in the first place and resumed where they last left off.
