I hope this letter gets to you safely. I mean, Tamachi isn’t even that far, there’s no

After staring at the Christmas themed stationary paper stash in front of her for a couple of minutes, tapping her fingers at the wooden table, Miyako decided to give one more shot at her love letter crafting.

With her red glitter pen in hands, she started writing - this time taking deep breaths between every written word:

Ken-kun,

Have you been to Roppongi lately? All of the trees there are decorated with those icy blue lights, it’s a true winter wonderland! But even here in Odaiba you can already see bits of Christmas decoration popping here and there. I’m so happy to see the city getting all festive like that~♪!

It doesn’t matter if they appear every holiday season since way before I was born, I never seen to get used to those pretty lights decorating the streets. Every time I look at them it’s like a flame starts burning in my chest and I get that feeling that everything is gonna be alright. I get all giddy and happy, it’s like even the winter become warm, you know~? Do you think that that’s what they call Christmas magic, Ken-kun?

But more than just magic, this year I’ll be praying for a Christmas miracle. The same Christmas miracle that brought all of us Chosen Children from all parts of the globe together a few years ago, do you think it can still hear my plea? Because this time I have a very selfish wish for Santa-san: there’s something - no, someone - I want more than everything in this world. Someone that lights my world more than all Christmas lights in the universe ever could. I can’t really hide my feelings, so I think everyone already knows who it is. Maybe even you know it.

Ken-kun, that person is you I want to tell you who that person is. Could you meet me at Rainbow Bridge at 18:00 on Christmas Eve? I know the colorful lights will give me strength to look into your eyes and open all my heart to you. And, with some luck, Santa-san will bring me a Christmas miracle there too.

character in general: Ichijouji-kun… He’s alright. You can always rely on him to buy in bulk at the grocery store just in case of emergencies, or to rotate the plants on the windowsill so they all get equal amounts of sunlight. Don’t ever give him the password to your blog, though, lest you want him muddying it up like the digital world back in 2002. how they play them: My gut instinct is to be short with like, any Ken I interact with now due to years of pent-up roommate rage over passive-aggressive sticky notes and late rent. If you’re not six feet deep into this AU like I am, you’ll probably find their Ken to be simply lovely. the mun: Suzyyyyyy, queen of photoshop, author of snippy quips, crafter of all my icons, and accepting of drabbley Daiken angst for payment. They’re so nice + talented + I owe the mun all the credit for my blog. Don’t look at me I’m helpless.

overall opinion: Tbh I was never a big fan of Ken until I started rp’ing with Suzy. He was a character I never connected with but Suzy’s take has totally drawn me in. Seven…. eiiighhttttt my goddd…? years later and I’m still so happy I get to write with them! Our threads really challenge me to approach Sora from different angles and it helps keep the two of us on our toes. Follow them !! RP with them !! Hang with us in adventure streams !!

character in general:  who doesn’t think ken is a sweet sweater child that must be protected at all costs? seriously though i love his character development and the different sides and dynamics we see coming into play with him throughout the series!how they play them: right here? see right here? this blog just here. i GUESS if you wanted possibly THE most accurate portrayal of ken ichijouji known to mankind you could come to this here mun. but you’d have to prepare to feel like you are staring ichijouji right in the peepers, know what i’m saying? you are actually talking to ken fluffing ichijouji. if you Want that? then this is the blog for you  i guess whatevs man. (also idk how you always find the line where ken should be kind and where ken should be savage af and it’s amazing!)the mun:  yo. like. i can’t even explain. you are looking at my straight up best friend of so many years. and nothing, NOTHING, i am saying here is biased. it’s like i was sayin’ before. if you can imagine a person that literally embodies selfless kindness and generosity. a person who would be there for you through so much shit. SOMEONE who would get on a goddamn terrifying rollarcoaster with you and make you laugh the whole freaking way. someone who would let you chill in their house despite being an ‘internet friend’.  someone who you would trust with literally anything! someone you can’t imagine not talking to every single goddamn day?!  well this ain’t that person lmao soz. because that only describes about 1% of how amazing this person is and about 0.5% of all the things i could say about them.
