Ælfeitr is a dökkálfar based upon the amanita bisporigera aka destroying angel mushroom. In order to better symbolize that, he wears a helmet reminiscent of a plague helmet, he is also a grim reaper who wields a scythe and has angel wings to represent a literal “angel” of death.
