I just hope to God that sj/m doesn't write the angels aren't horny and territorial beings because that is the complete opposite of how they are. Angels are supposed to be genderless and aroace. Then again, I don't know how other religions portray angels, so it might be different.

ohhh they’re definitely going to be aggressively heterosexual and aggressively masculine (it’s up in the air on whether or not there will be female angels, but having spelunked the Pinterest board for it, there weren’t any, though there were plenty of queens). and supernatural is better than sj/m’s will ever be (and spn does fuck up every so often, though better doing better in recent years). Cas, for example, has possessed both male and female vessels (canonically) and has said that he’s indifferent to sexual orientation. but sj/m wanted creatures with wings, so her angels are just going to be fae under a different name (just like the Sidhe will be fae under a different name). she’s so predictable and transparent that it’s almost funny.

I feel like she should have given out a piece of jewelry (maybe like.. a necklace with the Ornyth symbol on it ) or something instead of a pin. Then again, maybe it's cheaper to make pins intead of jewelry.

right?! for the last book in a series, they should pull out all the stops—especially bc they’re obviously not hard-up on money with her. how much you wanna bet the pin will be plastic?
