i would have much rather it was actually. its so... insulting...

i mean for guy super heroes all they have to worry about is being too EDGY but with female superheroes they pull that shit with the same narrative and boring cliche tropes so then when the movies dont make good $$$ at the box office people use it as proof to say “see? female super hero movies just dont sell :/” And of course they dont sell when theyre made like that, they make it all about shoving down a special brand of mainstream “GIRL POWER” white feminism and its so frustrating to watch
