[MV] Sojung - Better Than Me

Oh my God... this is absolutely gorgeous in its simplicity. The MV is just watching Hyunjin experience the emotions Sojung is singing about/with, and the song is literally just Sojung’s incredible voice over a piano accompaniment. So simple, but so beautiful. Sojung’s voice is just... absolute love. She could sing me the dictionary and I’d be enthralled. Her tone is so unique, and those moments where she dipped into her husky voice were perfect. I love this. We have been blessed.

[MV] LOOΠΔ 1/3 - Sonatine

Okay, I like this considerably more than I liked Love&Live. There is some really interesting stuff happening here. First of all, I have a tendency to love songs like this, with epic orchestral arrangements and no electronic anything to speak of. It’s absolutely gorgeous. Haseul really stuck out to me here because she has some incredible vocal parts, where there is dissonance between the tone of her voice and the tone of the song, and I am such a sucker for that type of thing. Her voice is amazing. Heejin as always playing the part of main vocal and killing it. Hyunjin and ViVi also have that sort of floating, pretty vocal color that fits so well in a song like this. This is beautiful.
