1. What is the best sandwich?

The variation of a sandwich they made for me at the Cafe in Etal 18 years ago. (It had cream cheese, crisps and apples) Haven't had something that good again.

But less ethereal prawn and crab mayo.

2. What’s one thing you own that you really should throw out?

The remains of the box my (hopefully soon to be replaced) PC came in 8 years ago.

3. What is the scariest animal?

Horses

4. Apples or oranges?

Apples. You get more variety and they are easier too eat.

5. Have you ever asked someone for their autograph?

No. I have asked for plenty of signatures but not an autograph.

6. What do you think happens when we die?

That remains to be seen.

7. Favourite smell

The first drops of rain of a summer thunderstorm on hot asphalt.

Rebirth stories often gloss over it, so I really enjoy how clearly Armin is struggling with being send back in time in Reset.

I was tagged by @thisonelikesaliens and I would have put together nearly the same list as the last time i was tagged in this game until I remembered how I searched for Tiuri and Piak gifs and eventually gave up because they apparently made a bad Netflix adaptation.

Hello! My curiosity compels me to drop by your inbox. I see by your reblogs on my dash that you watched Life: Love on the Line. What did you think? Rose💜

It was great!

I haven't watched something so captivating in some time. The story about queer struggles with beautiful imagery especially the colour motif of blue and red and sunrise/sunset. I could easily see myself in Itou Akira and although I would have liked him to work more for his forgiveness and the end felt a bit weaker in general it had me emotionally swept up.

Call me by no name - EP1 Colours - Stepping around the colour wheel to keep the distance

Although I am not yet fully taken by Call me by no name's fake dating setup, the colour-coding in the first episode has piqued my interest.

It starts with Megumi and Kotoha in orange and purple.

But we soon learn that they are normally red/pink and blue coloured.

Because Kotoha got too close to her Megumi took a step back and her colour changed accordingly.

I am interested too see how this continues and if they continue change colours according to their relationship development.

Avor's Watchlist for weeks 23 + 24

Fridays feel so stressful with all the series releasing a new episode. As much as I could not belief it at my worst, repeatedly subjecting yourself to social situations reduces general social anxiety. Because of that I am so glad that my job not only brings in money but also enabled me to go to the cinema alone again.

Fight for You 06.06.25 7,5/10 A cute series with nice core story but the locations and their associated plots feel too insular.

Tengu no Daidokoro Season 2 09.06.25 9,5/10 It continues it emphasis of the importance of relationships and the enjoyment of life. A relaxing series spreading contentment.

Secret Love 09.06.25 6,5/10 Predictable melo plot ultimately not for me.

The Wedding Banquet 10.06.25 8/10 The acting and the atmosphere are great. The motivations and apprehension of the four main characters become clear and make for a good story. I just feel they skipped the catalyst that leads from the failed proposal to the proposal of the green card marriage. That and the resolution for Lee and Angela leaves me a bit wanting.

Spice. 15.06.25 8,5/10 An interesting showcase of regional specialties with a story to tie it all together. A comfort watch.

Dropped in the last two weeks

Boys in Love Ep 9/12 15.06.25 5,5/10 The series is so concerned with not really shaking the status quo challenging systems of social control that the uplifting messages it wants to project get drowned out.
