The variation of a sandwich they made for me at the Cafe in Etal 18 years ago. (It had cream cheese, crisps and apples) Haven't had something that good again.

But less ethereal prawn and crab mayo.

2. What’s one thing you own that you really should throw out?

The remains of the box my (hopefully soon to be replaced) PC came in 8 years ago.

3. What is the scariest animal?

Horses

4. Apples or oranges?

Apples. You get more variety and they are easier too eat.

No. I have asked for plenty of signatures but not an autograph.

6. What do you think happens when we die?

That remains to be seen.

The first drops of rain of a summer thunderstorm on hot asphalt.

The Gaze (China, 2026 ) 07.06.26 8,0/10 A toxic CBL managing to reverse the power dynamic by the end. An enjoyable treat nicely made. All the typical tropes are present and alot is just left hanging.

Unexpectedly Naughty Fukami (Japan, 2026 ) 08.06.26 8,5/10 A cute little story of growth and support. Finding/experiencing love as adult. Visually interesting with very revealing sex scenes that are so unsexy they could be from sex education video. But also so intimate you feel like you are intruding. Intriguing

Life in smokey blue (Japan, 2026 ) 09.06.26 9,0/10 A calm and reassuring series about taking your time accepting setbacks and figuring yourself out.

Love Upon A Time (Thailand, 2026 ) 12.06.26 8,5/10 A good mix of comedy, mystery and drama. A bit long at times.

Double Helix (China, 2026 ) 13.06.26 9,0/10 A well crafted story of outside pressures, motivations and characterrisations. Though they fell for the non violent non ill mental ilness categorisation in the end. The colour dynamic was good.

Shitsuren Karuta (Japan, 2026 ) 14.06.26 8,5/10 A look at why romantic relationships fail and emphasis that we need relationships outside of that.

One Year (Thailand, 2026 ) 14.06.26 5,5/10 What an unsatisfying endorsement of the status quo and the path of least resistance. To setup abuse because of the dependance on caretakers as something unchangeable.

Hello! My curiosity compels me to drop by your inbox. I see by your reblogs on my dash that you watched Life: Love on the Line. What did you think? Rose💜

It was great!

I haven't watched something so captivating in some time. The story about queer struggles with beautiful imagery especially the colour motif of blue and red and sunrise/sunset. I could easily see myself in Itou Akira and although I would have liked him to work more for his forgiveness and the end felt a bit weaker in general it had me emotionally swept up.

Call me by no name - EP1 Colours - Stepping around the colour wheel to keep the distance

Although I am not yet fully taken by Call me by no name's fake dating setup, the colour-coding in the first episode has piqued my interest.

It starts with Megumi and Kotoha in orange and purple.

But we soon learn that they are normally red/pink and blue coloured.

Because Kotoha got too close to her Megumi took a step back and her colour changed accordingly.

I am interested too see how this continues and if they continue change colours according to their relationship development.
