IT WAS HONESTLY THE WORST 

dichen’s character (angela) was hired by fiona’s ex boyfriend to spy on her & her spying consisted of hanging out at fiona’s cafe, shamelessly flirting with her and blowing a ridiculous amount of money on pies. meanwhile fiona’s co-workers all tease fiona about how angela is totally into her (at this point I was like GOD IS THIS HAPPENING...LOOK AT THIS SET UP....) 

but instead it just ends with dichen driving off going “fiona your ex bf is a prick and I think you’re beautiful, you’re my type” BUT NOTHING HAPPENS AND FIONA MARRIES SOME NECKBEARD W A GUITAR

surprisingly, racism and sexism isn't an isolated experience that's divided between party (ship) lines. tbh someone wrangle social justice away from fandom.
