What if you were offered the 'opportunity of a lifetime' specific to your character, what would that look like for Lyn?

To truly be free of the debt that she feels she owes Eyir for her life, to be free of the gifts that came with that pact, and the binding of her soul to the Halls of Valor, Lyn was given a task. 

It was impossible when it was said, but considering the circumstance it’s understandable -- you don’t get to attempt to bind a Watcher (Goddess?) without suffering some consequence for the insult. 

Being in a position to kill Sylvanas would be the ultimate opportunity of a lifetime. To swing the blade that ends a woman who has caused so much needless pain? To follow through with the one act that would allow her to be debtless? It would be incredible. 

Lyn knows this is impossible. But the idea is nice!

🌳 Compare your OC to themself from 10 years ago. How has their mental state changed since then, how have they aged and grown up? Would they say they’re in a better place than they were back then or do they need help? What advice would they give their younger self? What advice would their younger self give to them now?

Zeehva ten years ago was quite young, but she had to learn to grow up faster than most children. She was still very naive and bright-eyed about the world. She was much more shy, not nearly as intelligent, and far more self-conscious about herself. 

She is most certainly in a far better place now than she was back then aside from no longer having her father. 

The advice she would give her younger self is, ‘cherish the time you have with your father because he’s not getting any younger’. Her younger selfs advice to her older self would likely be, ‘don’t let the pain of the world take away your wonder’.

Fiorenze is extremely prone to sleeping in, regardless of whether or not she’s had a late night. She will absolutely lay in bed and doze until 10am if she’s got nothing else to do or nowhere else to be. It’s one of her very few guilty pleasures.

😍 Who are 5 people your character finds attractive?

We-ell.  I’m answering this one on Val.

Val finds her elf attractive, obviously, even if she can’t stand his moustache.

Mr. Tavallion has the dashing look she usually finds herself drawn to, but I don’t think she’s admitted to it.  Their personalities are also very different. ( @curiouscodex )

There’s a longrunning joke about @levvnightfall and his rear end here.  I stand by this.

There’s history with one @edmund-valks, and she likes him in that sort of greying, geeky, gruff-teddy-bear kind of way.  That was ages ago, though.

I can’t think of a fifth, honestly.  I know there’ve been lots of people who have caught her eye, many of whom are on here, but she’s not done more than look.

TMIT: Who inspires you and why?

Leon and Terry are two romantic little morons at heart and their first impulses would both be to say their wives. Although in Leon’s case, that would also extend, after a bit of thought, to include his lovers and friends, too.

More specifically, Leon draws inspiration for his writing, consciously or otherwise, from his parents and from other versions of himself. If he was willing to be so intentionally dramatic, he’d say he drew inspiration from old wounds. For his food, he thinks of meals with his mum, and the comfort a full belly provides. It’s very country of him, and he doesn’t care.

Terry is rarely inspired by people, but he does have a staggering amount of respect for his former CO, Alynore Forrester. She was the first paladin (and one of the few people period) he met who treated him like a person deserving of a chance, even though she knew all the horrible things he’d done. She gave him a shot and he did, and has been doing, everything in his power not to make her look stupid for doing it. He trusts her enough that he’s asked her to advise his adoptive son on how to deal with wielding the Light, which is a hell of a lot coming from a guy who quite literally died to protect his family (ignoring that it didn’t work and was incredibly misguided).

TMIT: ((Morbid question is morbid)) When they die what do they want done with their body? Buried anywhere in particular? Cremated with ashes spread somewhere?

It depends on the situation really, and what Kari wanted. 

If she were to die first then perhaps cremated and part of that made into some sort of necklace/ring for him. The other part buried in a grove of trees she likes on their estate. 

If Kari were to die first, then wherever he is buried. 

In that scenario, if she could not retrieve his body then probably just buried on their estate next to their son and daughter, with a monument for Kari. 

Honestly, she has no real preference but to rest by her families side and return to the earth to help fertilize it.

“I don’t know how to ride a horse, or a hawkstrider, or anything like that. The only time I’ve ever ridden anything was with someone else holding the reins or whatnot. Even in the caravan that had many different types of pack animals and riding animals I didn’t learn to ride.”
