She married into the Tel'vaiel family, a few ranks up from her own, and spent most of her life in the Court of Silvermoon navigating high elven politics. She recently abdicated the Tel'vaiel titles and retains the Sunmote titles as a formality — what is left of those lands is not enough to hold any weight in the Regency

Druid - she's one of the rare Sin'dorei with nature magic, her affinity with flowers is clear and the arrangements she puts together through her business Flowerhouse tend to live weeks longer than the competition

June DWC - Day 5 Prey/Abundance

A gentle breeze stirred the leaves of the sprawling blackberry hedge that was doing its best to spill out of the raised garden planter it had rooted deeply in. Fiorenze smiled as she watered where she could. The bramble had grown so thick that realistically that looked like dumping the can over the top of it and knowing the droplets and rivulets would find their way down. Already the white blooms that had burst forth a week or two ago were undergoing their transformation into jewel-like berries. In another few weeks they'd be ready for anyone who came by the community garden to pick.

She drifted back toward what had once been a great fountain; now it was a pool thick with lily pads and the whistling call of frog song in the evenings. She adjusted her big sun-hat so it wouldn't fall as she leaned forward to re-fill her watering can. A scatter of little, silvery minnows scattered in the wake of the ripples. Pond water would always be a better fertilizer than the tap or well water up at the Conservatory proper and Keranna trusted her with the maintenance of it all.

It really was a wonder how productive the garden had become in a year's time. Tomatoes hung heavy from their vines, ripe for the plucking. Young peach and plum trees bore their own bounties in excess. The many different kinds of peppers she had seeded had exploded in growth and constantly produced new, unique varietals thanks to cross pollination from the bees who had a home in nearby apiaries.

One of the prospective chefs who used the test kitchen — a kitchen that had once been fully staffed to provide meals for the nobles that lived in the manor and was now open to commoners who needed space to work and try new things — carefully plucked strawberries off their small hedges and placed them in a basket with what looked like edible flowers and a pile of bright citrus fruits.

Her long ears flicked as she heard a child shriek in clear fear from the direction of the gourd arbor. She dropped the watering can and ran in the direction of the structure. Thick vines had filled in and completely shaded the gravel path the arched trellises covered. Luffa gourds and calabash squash hung down along the inside, still growing in their pendulous states. A kid sat on the ground, their basket of vegetables scattered all around them from where they'd flung it in terror. His eyes were locked on a spot among the leaves and large yellow flowers.

Fiorenze watched as a green grass snake poked its head out, its little pink tongue flicked to scent the air as it mostly minded its own business. She tried not to laugh, it was clear the child had been startled by the little guy. The kid looked up at her, grateful to have some kind of backup against the fierce beast.

She knelt down and started gathering up the spilled potatoes, carrots and rhubarb stalks, "What's your name, dear?"

He cast the snake another furtive glance before turning onto his hands and knees to help get together the rest of the wayward produce to put back into his basket. It took a bashful moment before he answered, "I'm Laisren."

"Well met, I'm Fiorenze. Don't worry about my friend over there, you're not his preferred prey," she grinned at him and offered over what she had gathered up.

Laisren's little hands took the veggies from her as he blinked owlishly, "Like the Lady that used to live here?"

She nodded and answered true, "Like the Lady that used to live here."

He smiled and glanced back toward where the snake had been and stood up as tall as his years allowed, "My mom is going to think I'm so cool. I fought a snake. I met a Lady. I'm a real knight."

She did laugh then, "My apologies, I ought to have used your title then, Sir Laisren. Perhaps don't keep her waiting if she's expecting you home with this food soon."

His ears shot straight up as he looked out toward the bright garden beyond the shady arbor, "Oh! Yeah! Nice to meet you! Bye!" He dashed out, running in the direction of the road down to Glimmerglen.

Fiorenze watched him go for a moment with a slight smile on her face. What a joy this place had become.

June DWC - Day 2 Vibrant

The blade of her fencing foil carved a streak through the air that glowed a shifting blue-violet and hung behind as a ribbon-like after image. Her "opponent", Senia Wildfire — they weren't actually having a match, yet, this was technically just practice — slapped her own steel in a decisive, hot pink tinged parry that sparked an arc of glittering, miniature stars around them. Sen's gasp of glee made Fiorenze laugh a bit as she bounced backwards in retreat, light on the balls of her feet, ready to advance again herself if they were actually going to have a duel instead of taking light swipes to test out their enchants.

"Can your sister do hearts instead of little stars? The crowd is going to LOVE the extra burst sparkles but ~I'm~ the Queen of Hearts out there and it'll be SO much more thematically appropriate," Senia asked as she stopped in place and inspected her sword for a moment. "I'll pay for it, obviously."

Fiorenze smiled. She hadn't been part of the Shining Sabers long, but Senia had been extremely welcoming the entire time. Her first time stumbling into the underground club that hosted the matches had been a revelation. Co-ed fencing, surrounded by a cheering crowd that could bet and put money toward banes or boons to grant gifts or handicaps to the duelists.

The sabers themselves had to be enchanted to trail light as they flashed through the air to make them easier to follow in the shifting lighting schemes that occurred throughout. At least once per bout the club lighting was completely replaced by ultraviolet, and the individuals — or teams, that was a boon that could be granted — had vibrant, glowing decorations as part of the grand show.

But it was a real duel at the end of the night, beyond the bombastic stylization and opportunities for tricks among the lunges. The most skilled fencer won at the end of the match, resulting in a fun, performance oriented event that contributed toward city and kingdom-wide official competitions.

"I'm sure Pyraelia wouldn't mind," she said to Senia in answer, "She's been looking for fun new projects to keep her busy."

Senia's smile was as bright as her blade, "Yay! Is she coming to your match on Friday? It's your first one, right? Who are you up against?"

"Aylali, apparently," Fiorenze sighed as she tucked her blade under her arm to mark the end of their play, "And I haven't invited anyone yet. It's fairly late in the evening and I sort of want to get through the first one without anyone I know there, you know?"

"Oh, ~The Grand Dame~," Sen's tone was perfectly sardonic, "You're going to beat her, right?"

Fiorenze didn't hesitate, "The person with the most wins in the club? Of course."

That made Sen laugh, "Then you should invite your friends and fam. I can't make you, but you do have all that extra noble training in this and are pretty good. Plus, flaunting is fun. Have you come up with your strip name yet?"

Saying it like that always sounded so dirty, but the strip was their stage. She wobbled her head and free hand back and forth in a so-so sort of way, "I've been considering Fallen Star. Especially because I can always shift into my astral form for the drama."

"Oh! I like that. And it will upstage Aylali even more… Now," Sen grinned and shifted into her en garde stance with her blade out, "let's actually properly practice."

Fiorenze shook her head and chuckled quietly as she brought her blade back to her active hand. It really was nice to play again.

TMIT: What is something that's been frustrating her lately?

"Time, I suppose. It's not much frustration, admittedly. I'm not important enough to have big frustrations anymore. It just feels so slow sometimes and far too fast in others. I suppose that's always how it'll be, but... It is what it is."

"What question can’t you seem to find the answer to?"

"I'm not sure there is one of those. My parents were both professors of the arcane at two universities; they taught Pyraelia and I how to be curious and where to find answers when we did have questions.

Some of those bigger, philosophical questions that exist in the world have fluid, changing answers depending on the decade or stage of life, and I'm quite comfortable with that, too."
