Her apartment felt emptier than usual without feeling and seeing Ender around. Seeing the ghost was something she could handle, but not feeling Ender’s presence was suffocating… and she hated it. So, that’s why Aeri would usually spend her days either at Kai’s place or Hyun Woo’s, as the two tended to calm her down a little, whereas being at Andi’s made her angry for not doing her job right and not getting the answers everyone in town wanted.
Looking for some peace and quiet, the brunette found herself by the beach, watching as the waves crashed gently on the shore, and where she had said her goodbyes to Kai not too long ago. Maybe this whole tragedy was going to give their… friendship, or whatever that was blossoming between them, another chance.
A smaller frame casted a shadow beside her, and Aeri turned her head to see Kanda standing there. Quiet. Petite. Precious. Like they’ve always been.
“Oh… Hi, Kanda.” She asked, moving her gloved hands up to cast a shadow over her eyes when she looked up at the banshee. “I'll probably sound stupid asking this, but... how are you doing lately? Do you want to sit down?”
