"is this stupid thing on? fuck, how the hell do you--” a sudden beep interrupted him, taeoh’s lips curling into a satisfied smirk. “there you go. i’m a goddamn genius.” he settled back right next to aeri, giving the camera a sarcastic wave and the same wicked grin aeri’s viewers have gotten accustomed to seeing. 

he promised before that he’d do the intro this time. he’s seen aeri do it dozens of times, so he wasn’t too worried about pulling it off. he gave her a side glance, suddenly determined to prove that he could do this without screwing it up the first time. 

“so, due to popular demand, i guess we’re doing the couples q&a challenge today. if i get a question wrong, then arielle gets to cake my face up, one step each wrong answer.” his english pronunciation of her name is still devastatingly rusty, but he likes to think that it’s as good as it’s ever going to get. taeoh was proud of himself for getting that far without messing up, he can’t help but think that he’s the perfect fake boyfriend for this. putting on a fake relationship for the camera was the perfect way to get views, taeoh’s come to know that pretty well ever since he’s met aeri. 

“but if she gets one wrong, then i get to give her a makeover. you guys know the drill. like, comment, subscribe, all that shit. you ready?”

the one where hyunwoo gets a stalker

hyunwoo wasn’t gloating, but his days after his transformation has been nothing but great. girls approach him on an average 2-3 times a week and it was something he was secretly proud of. the old lady who works at the bakery always puts him down for more shifts because she knows how he attracts the female population down to the shop. 

he’d get highschool girls giving him confession letters and chocolates and he was always grateful. but one particular letter, always with the same handwriting, torn paper, and pen colour was always left at the cashier. the content of the letter varied from alright to plain creepy. in the latest edition, the girl said she knew where he stayed and she’d wait for him to finish work. 

to say he was afraid was an understatement. he texted his friends but none of them took it seriously, telling him to stop being a baby. he was on closing duty today, and the other girl who was supposed to be working with him was on sick leave. 

hyunwoo gulps, eyes shifting wearily as he scans the area to make sure there was no one. he carries the trash bag and double checks that the door to the bakery was locked before heading to the alleyway to throw the trash. 

he clutched his phone close to him, in case he had to call the entire swat team to save him. the alleyway was dimly lit and he could hear footsteps tracing behind him. he could feel his heart racing as he begin to increase his speed. 

“fuck-- im gonna die today.”
