aeronautical-genius started following you
It wasn’t that females on the Enterprise were particularly rare, but for someone who spent as much time avoiding the crowd as T’androma did, finding a female engineer was somewhat surprising, and simply looking at someone’s files was a much easier way at going about getting information.
Her name was Maeliah Ketchov. 28 Terran years. Half-Argelian. Aeronautical engineer and, according to her records, a fully capable one at that. Fascinating. T’androma supposed an effort at an acquaintanceship should be made, but how to go around that, she did not know. It was safe to say that humans, Half-Argelian or not, were not the young Vulcan’s strong suit.
So she headed to the engineering deck, the entire way there contemplating what to say. “My name is T’androma, I am a Vulcan, and I believe an acquaintanceship between you and I would be logical.” No, that would not do. “I’ve looked at your files and I find your achievements impressive. Shall we commence our introductions?” No, that didn’t sound right either.
And when she arrived at the deck sooner than she expected, there was simply no choice than to come up with something quickly, for the half-Argelian female engineer looked up from her work expectantly.
“Miss Ketchov,” T’androma greeted with a small bow of her head. “It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.”
