Some commissions take a little longer but are well worth the wait. This one was of a scene very special to the story and the author, so I wanted to do it justice. This was about six months from first concept sketches to the finished product to make sure I had everything right, and in digital art hours took almost eight hours to paint! A part of a series of commissions for @aeronkage of a character of the same name! He has the power to manipulate shadows and is just kind of a badass all around. And also a dork, which makes him my favorite kind of character.
