Brief Musing: Aeryn and the Nymph

Aeryn, Teovald, Flynn and Olive have set up camp in the the Eldar Wood. Flynn is keeping an eye on the camp, Olive is hunting for rabbits and leghorns, and Teovald for deer or warthogs. Aeryn has been given the task to look for any fallen branches or logs that he can haul back to prepare the campfire. He comes to a small lake/pond and within it a woman sits bathing in it, brushing her hair with an ornate-looking comb. Her skin colour is green and her hair is a sweet red colour and interwoven within, a lotus flower.

Nymph: The nymph notices Aeryn and smiles at him, continuing to brush her hair. “Hello, it is not often that we see mankind.”

Aeryn: “Who are you?”

Nymph: “We have no need for names. I believe your kind call us Nymphs.”

Aeryn: “It’s a bit late for you to be here don’t you think?”

Nymph: “Late?” she giggles. “I live here, my dear. If anything, you are intruding my own home.” she smiles, continuing to brush her hair.

Aeryn: “I apologise for the intrusion.” Aeryn goes to leave.

Nymph: “Wait!” she says to him. “Do you have to go so soon?”

Aeryn: He is confused by her question. “It is nearly time to sleep.”

Nymph: “But it is not often that I get to speak to another.”

Aeryn: “What would you like to talk about?”
