To say that the Spy had been a bit twitchy lately would be an understatement. He couldnāt exactly explain why or even begin to pin point the reason behind his restlessness. All he knew was that something had crawled under his skin and it was causing him to react before thinking.
It was that very reason why his fingers had buried themselves into her arm, jerking it away from his general proximity.
In hindsight she likely wasnāt reaching for him or his mask. She could have very well been reaching past him to close the door after his arrival since the typical gesture had slipped his mind. He said nothing as his eyes rested upon her face, nor did he loosen his insistent grasp.
"I've missed our sessions," she's smiling.
