“WELL, let me remedy that right away,” he said, pulling Summer to him and peppering her face with kisses.

Dirty Talk Sentence Starters // Accepting
It was a beautiful day, which meant that Tai was outside, getting some work done around the house. Yang was asleep under a nearby tree, carefully in the shade, where he could see and hear her as he worked. He'd spent some time putting the garden in order, but as the day wore on (and he checked on Yang as he went), he started to get warmer.
When he moved on to chopping wood, he was warm enough that he'd taken his shirt off.
While he'd been paying attention to what he was doing, he noticed when Summer made an appearance, even though he couldn't see her. He HAD been just about finished with the wood he'd been intending to cut that day, but he cut a few more pieces, deliberately playing it up for Summer's benefit, muscles rippling in the glow of the sun as the light started to deepen towards sunset.
By the time she spoke, he had QUITE the stack of wood all chopped. Putting the axe down, he turned in her direction with a cheeky grin, taking a moment to stretch out, now that she was more obviously watching him.
"And here I thought I'd just been WORKING when all this time I was TEASING you," he said with a little laugh, but they both knew that that was only partially true. As soon as he had realized she was there, while he HAD kept working, he'd shifted into teasing mode pretty quickly.
"Let me just take Yang inside, and I am ALL yours," Tai murmured as he leaned down to place a soft kiss on Summer's cheek. Yang hadn't been sleeping a lot recently, which meant that she was OUT, currently. Which gave them plenty of time.
@aestascadere asked: "That's it, no." Cracking her knuckles, Summer inhaled, marching right over to him, crouching slightly to wrap her arms around his legs and standing - yes. This petite woman hoisted him over her shoulder. "We're going home like this,"
"Summer, what are you--" is all he manages to get out before she's literally hoisted him over her shoulder, something that prompts a surprised 'oof!' from the man. He's not at all sure what brought this on, and he doesn't want Summer to HURT herself just to prove a point.
"I already knew you were strong, Summer, but are you sure you want to carry me all the way home like this?" She didn't NEED to impress him; he was definitely already impressed. But maybe she was trying to show off for Raven or Tai. Raven DID like it when people showed her they were strong, after all, whether that was physically or mentally.
Then again, he's slimmer than he seems; a lot of times, his meals were more liquid than solid......which wasn't a good thing. But as long as Summer wasn't pushing herself and didn't injure herself, who was he to try to tell her what to do?
"I just wanted to take a midnight walk with you." Not the true intention, but the best intention she could keep, looking upwards to spy at the stars above them. It's familiar, even if it's weird. "Did you want to go do something else?"
qrow looks up, too. head held higher than usual, feet moving forward, shoulders straight so he can crane to see. he lives easier outside, in the open freedom of crisp air with a veil of night and the scent of grasses in the breeze, tinted with hints of rose wafting over from his companion. fewer stars dot the city sky than back at camp, but trading a skyline of buildings for vale mountain foothills dims the light pollution well enough for a constellation or four.
meandering outside the containment of walls sets his mind at ease. lets him breathe easier.
he enjoys himself so much he almost forgets that Summer followed him out. she’s become so familiar a presence, he forgets to think of being tailed as a threat, or a disaster waiting to happen, or a nosy leader.
qrow doesn’t bother to care why she came. he doesn’t mind, and to him, weird is everything except this. but as he hears her words, and tears rapt attention away to turn towards their source, he wonders why she now doubts her own choice.
maybe he shouldn’t have been so silent as he wandered next to her all this way.
contented red eyes quirk with curiosity, especially as the young woman still seems as enthralled by tonight’s scenery as he is. he’s always been obtuse, and lately, out of his element, unaware of so many ‘civilized’ behaviors. maybe he missed something, probably did something wrong.
he asks gently, perhaps stubbornly, not understanding,
“...why would i wanna do anythin’ else?”
@aestascadere asked: "Taibear, I know you're not pouting." Putting her hands on her hips, Summer huffs. Poor woman, she can't help it - unable to keep up her own, she sighs. "Fine, if you want that many kisses, you're going to crouch this time." / For tai, yes, you get one too <3
He'd only been half-pouting when she points out that she knows full well when he's ACTUALLY pouting, and Tai can't help but laugh. Summer knew him to well for him to expect a trick like that to work on her. But when she sighs, his grin only widens; he was definitely used to her teasing, by this point.
"From you? I ALWAYS want kisses," he laughs, only too happy to drop into a chair so that it's easier for her to reach him. Summer was shorter than him, yes, but it made it that much easier to rest his head on top of hers. It was probably frustrating for her, though, despite how enormously capable she was.
Still, he'd be glad to sit or kneel or crouch or whatever she wanted him to do at any point; he was just......hopeless, when it came to Summer. They all were, really.
@aestascadere asked: "I'm not hiding anything." She says, with her arms tucked behind her back. "I have no idea where Harbinger is, sounds like you need a better memory though."
He had agreed to watch the girls so that Tai and Summer could actually spend some time together; while other people might have grumbled about having to keep track of two very young children, Qrow didn't mind at all. Truth be told, he loved spending time with Yang and Ruby. They were still pretty young, yes, but he loved them fiercely.
Apparently they'd all fallen asleep on the couch watching the movie the girls had INSISTED upon, which did happen occasionally. This time, though, Tai and Summer had come home to find Ruby and Yang asleep on either side of Qrow, who started to open his eyes when Tai picked up the girls to carry them off to bed.
At Summer's words, he blinked again, his brain taking a moment to process her words. But once he realized what she'd SAID, he raised an eyebrow, leaning slightly to the side to see that she didn't, in fact, have anything behind her back.
"I watch your kids for you, and you steal my weapon," he said, shaking his head in mock-disappointment. "If this is the thanks I get for playing Uncle, looks like I'll have to stop coming around so much." But they BOTH knew that that wouldn't happen; he loved this whole little family far too much.
He stood off the couch, stretching before he offered Summer a little grin. "You and Tai have a good time?" They didn't often get to spend much time alone together, so he hoped they had.
@aestascadere asked: "I can still lift you, your dads not the only one," She picks Yang right up into her arms, "See? Though I'm not as tall as them, I'm as strong as them." / For yang ( THE LAST ONE WAS FOR TAI IM SORRY SOBS )
The last thing Yang had expected had been for her mother to pick her up into her arms the way she had when she was little, especially now that Yang herself was taller than Summer. Once she's over the initial surprise, she can't help the laugh that leaves her as she shakes her head.
"Must be where I get it," she said with a grin. It didn't matter that Summer wasn't her biological mother; she'd been there for her, which made her Yang's mom. And she loved her fiercely.
"Bet I can pick you up, too!" the blonde exclaimed once Summer had put her back onto her feet, and she demonstrates by doing exactly as she'd said, scooping Summer up into her arms and propping her up onto her shoulder. "See? I'm super strong, just like you!"
@aestascadere asked: "Boo!" Wrapping her arms around Tai from his behind, she peered over his arm, smile wide and cheerful. "You left this morning without giving me something." There's a pout, of course.
Tai had just gotten home from a full day of teaching (they'd taken a field trip into the forest, to study some Grimm up close. It might not have been one of his BEST ideas, but it had turned out all right in the end), and he was very much looking forward to seeing Summer. He didn't see her right when he got inside, but he decided to get dinner started.
Before he'd had a chance to do much, Summer's arms were around him. The blonde let out a little laugh, turning to pull her into his arms, even as her adorable little pout just made his grin widen.
"You were fast asleep; I didn't want to wake you," he said by way of explanation, but he's all too happy to bend to give her a kiss now, making up for leaving without his customary goodbye that morning.
