Tiki very rarely lost her temper, or even have any emotional outbursts at all these days. She couldn’t help it this time however, being on the receiving end of one too many snide comments from her child. Or she claimed she was her child. No matter what efforts she made to be friendly, to try and bond with the girl like she had seen the other parents…not even Gerome had been this standoffish. It was starting to drive her mad, and finally she just couldn’t take it anymore.
“I am trying - so hard to get to know you, but you reject me at every turn! At least tell me what I did to make you hate me so much!” She spread her hands, helplessly. “How am I meant to change if you can’t trust me with that?”
