With the first week of classes over and all schools present, what better way to celebrate the beginning of a new year and a new tournament than with that of a welcome feast? The feast itself is open to all and under the watchful eye of the Headmistress and her fellow teachers. When the feast is over... that’s when the real fun begins. Seems one of the Slytherins took it upon themselves to throw a party in the room of requirement. Hopefully nothing goes wrong.

The first event will be held from Saturday July 14th at 3pm EST to Wednesday July 18th at 8pm EST. Feel free to have threads about the feast itself or you can just focus on the party. At some point I will ask for a volunteer for our very first plot drop.

With the first snow of the season comes the annual Hogsmeade Winter Festival. While Hogsmeade is typically festive this time of year, nothing is like when it’s done up for the holidays. Along with the typical shops and restaurants, there’s also a Winter Carnival, and an ice skating rink.  As a special treat to students old and new, Headmistress Mcgonagall is allowing each and every student down for an extended visit. Things have been going so well... there can’t possibly be trouble lurking ahead... can there?

This event will be held from THURSDAY NOVEMBER 15TH to WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 21ST (with a plot drop happening when the event finishes). Feel free to have threads about whatever aspect of winter you wish.

As the temperature changed and students became more comfortable with one another, the Headmistress decided it was time to let the students have a little fun. With Halloween and the choosing of the champions on the horizon, it was agreed that while an official Halloween feast would happen any unofficial events wouldn’t be interrupted. That meant that as soon as the food had been finished, students had free range of the castle to conduct in any manner they wished (including an all house party in the room of requirement). Nobody could sense that SOMETHING was on the horizon.

This event will be held from TUESDAY OCTOBER 30TH to SATURDAY NOVEMBER 3RD (with a plot drop happening when the event finishes). Feel free to have threads about whatever aspect of Halloween is going on. There will also be a task included but more on that later.
