First Encounter
It didn’t take a genius to know that Aria had wondered into a known gathering of second-rate bounty hunters. Not only that, but they were all fresh out of the tavern, chugging their last glass of brewed beer while whistling at the passerby. It wasn’t typical behavior of a hunter, but of course you have THESE guys that always seemed to degrade themselves like common drunkards.
One even tried to reach out and grasp her arm to stop her. Stay a while, as they would tell her. The sound of chuckling and chattering of lucid thoughts under breaths of stenched alcohol had begun to wear patience upon the man that had just turned his attention behind him by tilting his head. Hearing EVERYTHING of what they were doing.
He did not need his sight to promptly start forward, grasping and SHOVING the other hunter away from Aria before things could have gotten rather nasty. Hearing her move, he stood up front by where he heard her and drew out his sword.
“She is with me.” He said, plain and simple. Blue Bird heard an array of gruffed insults, a few hand waves, and soon enough the drunkards were bored of the scene. They all went back to the tavern for their fifth helping.
“They all should know better than that. It gives a disgrace to the bounty hunter name. You are not harmed, right?” His head turns, but his eyes appear to be looking at her arm. He has never gotten used to being blind like this, despite it being YEARS after the event.
“Take my arm. It’s best you share your presence with me so they don’t come bothering you again.”
