@aetherevs gets a ‘during the year’ starter for steve! 

          “they’re gone, i didn’t know where else to go so i came here knowing that you guys might need some help---” this whole situation caused a heavy toll on the young spider, he was trying to be strong, but the vision of watching his parents dust like that--all he wanted to do was stay here and train to get stronger so he could help in anyway that he could. 

          “i know i’m new to this whole hero stuff, but i’m good at what i do. just...don’t make me go back there..i can’t stay in that house anymore.”

          she had many friends ; forms covered in feathers . the birds that surrounded her home always were able to alert her to a visitor . robins and blue birds , crows and ravens , even those of prey warned her of a presence . head lifted from her mortar and pestle , long pipe who’s dark smoke only added to the thick fog of incense that filled the room . with a heavy sigh she brought up her thick veil , hiding scaled skin and horns and demon-like eyes .

          her house was the first thing that brought fear to most humans that dared take the long and winding mountain pass to her home . once there was a deep cave into the mountain but long ago she built outward with volcanic rock . only one window , painted glass but view into the home was blocked by creeping vines within . there was no door but instead a beaded curtain hung ( though upon closer inspection the curtains held no beads but glistening scales with the colours of a sunset ) .

          surrounding the house were feeders and baths and houses for birds and bats alike . she loved her avian friends . only friends she’d ever have . their songs soothed her . made her feel less lonely .

          when curtain is pushed aside , making music of its own , anyone would be hit with the thick smoke of her incense . the room , beyond the twinkling reflections of the scales when sunlight shone through the doorway , the room would be dark . the window did little to let in light . candles littered the room as well as a fireplace . so of course when the stranger entered finding her , with her black clothes camouflaging her into the shadows ,  was quite difficult .

@aetherevs gets a starter because time for two babes! 

     aang couldn’t believe his luck these past few days. finding out a way to defeat ozai without having to kill him, that was one of the big things that happened as well as ending the war because of it. 

     but one thing his heart was glad for was he was finally with the one he loved. though they didn’t make it official in saying what they were to one another, aang knew by the kiss that him and katara shared that was all the proof he needed to know they were a couple. 

     so, as he watched the young woman, there was a smile on his face as he had to utter the words. 

          “i love you, katara.”
