Patience | Sol / Ma’Za

Solomon didn’t know what to say. He had not expected to hear from the young Khajiit. Perhaps if she had wanted help, but not for the act of gift-giving. He didn’t know what to say, for once in his life, but accepted the bag regardless. It baffled him to think that she had remembered such a small detail of their brief meeting… A brief meeting that lead to him ripping her off big-time. The nearby shopkeeper had purchased the thing for 500 septims. Solomon had been living fairly comfortably for the past few days. In fact, he was tempted to save up and buy a house. 500 septims meant he was well on his way to managing that.
Regardless, the notion took him off guard. How had she managed to collect so many in such a short amount of time? He stared at the Khajiit for a few moments before finally saying:
“I am sorry, I never caught your name.”
“Me name Ma’Zarabi,” the Suthay replies after a moment of silence; staring back at the golden man to mimic his behaviour. Truthfully, she was unaware if this was a normal thing to do during an interaction with somebody, and so was merely testing the limits of what is, and isn’t, acceptable.
“I say true to you, Solly-mon: Ma’Za not sure if greens are all same,” her tone seems apologetic, though somewhat forced - it seemed apologizing didn’t exactly come naturally to the Khajiit, but an attempt was made nonetheless. “She try hardest to find shiniest ones though. Hope they nice present. Is see you around, maybe.”
The white, small feline turned on her thin legs to begin walking away from the man she barely knew; fingers jammed between her discoloured teeth to whistle a tune before she began chewing on her claws as she left.
