Big Ol’ Honkin’ OC Question List

Took another nap and these three asks in my inbox were fantastic to wake up to because weird night’s turned into weird day and I need the distraction hot damn thank u so much sweetie 💕

And aezlin! Gods it’s been ages since he’s come up at all~ I’m gonna tag @likemesomesalads purely because ITS HER BOI

C1. Does your OC have a moral code? If not, how do they base their actions? If so, where does it come from, and how seriously do they take it?

Oh no moral code at all, aezlin’s moral backbone is about as solid as a cooked noodle. All of his actions in their entirety are based on what he wants for himself in the moment! He’s about as self centered as you can get, though surprisingly there’s just enough outward awareness in there to also hook him two boyfriends.

C2. Would your OC feel bad if they acted against their morals? If not, would they find a way to excuse themselves for it?

If he acted against his morals that’d require not being at all selfish, which he’d justify by spinning it in a way in which he still gains something from the situation. If we’re talking about others morals, well, he wouldn’t feel bad at all.

C3. Is it important for them to be with people (socially, intimately, whatever) whose major ideological tenets align with their own?

Nope! You can think what you want, he’ll still do his thing. He legitimately joined the court purely because he wanted to date Gavin. He got what he wanted and he does work for the court, but his morality hardly lines up with it all the same.

C4. Do they consider themselves superior or more important than anyone else? Lesser?

He is the most important person here of course~! Anyone remotely worth his time would know that. Though @ascalonianpicnic’s Oriphio does place the pets higher than him on priorities but he’ll let that slide

C5. Do your OC’s morals and rules of common decency go out the window when it comes to those they don’t like, or when it’s inconvenient? Aka, are their morals situational?

His morals never drop and he’s one hell of a self-important ass because of it! He will be decent enough towards you if you do what he says or he’s trying to lure you into the court. Otherwise, you aren’t worth his time darling.

C6. What do they do when they see someone asking for money or food? If they ignore them, why? If they help, how so?

Ignore. Random people asking for things? Now that’s just not worth his time at all. As if he’d give up anything to some beggar. Pointless and preposterous.

C7. Do they believe people change over time? If so, is it a natural process or does it take effort?

Oh he knows people can change over time! After all, his first boyfriend Oriphio said no the first time he asked him out but look at the two now! Oriphio spoils him~

C8. Is your OC more practical or ideal morally? I.e., do they hold people to high expectations of behavior even if it’s not realistic for the situation, or do they have a more realistic approach and adapt their morality to be more practical?

Ideal absolutely. He has an idea of how you should fit into his life and he expects you to uphold it. His boyfriends are the only ones who get some leeway in that at all and that’s because they’re dating him and thus clearly already adore him as much as physically possible~
