unpopular opinion: ?? dunno if it's unpopular but i love her entire arc. i love that she wakes up in the houses of healing feeling restless and like she's failed bc she didn't die in battle and instead looks like she'll have a drawn-out, miserable end. and i love that she grows to hope and to aspire for different things and to love. it's absolutely what she deserves

favourite character, character I think about the most: Edmund Pevensie!!!! Please he is just so neat and has so much potential for fics (especially angst fics)

underrated/underappreciated fave: Corin!!! Dude is CHAOTIC and every single scene with him is iconic. Some dude talks bad about Susan, so he knocks him down? Dude then brings out older brother, so Corin knocks him down?? Also he gets like 100 points to finding out he has a twin brother who is crowned king and is just so chill about it

obscure fave, character that can appear in the background for 0.2 seconds and I won't shut up about it for a week: Prince Rilian! Idk what it is about him but I am so attached to his character, I just think he's neat your honour <3

"problematic"/unpopular/controversial/otherwise pathetic fave: I'm not sure I have one?? I feel like everyone is kinda rightly deserving my love or hate for them

:)))) Tumblr Hiatus Asks

1. When did I join Tumblr & why?

That would be 7th grade because a friend was talking about it to me in class and then I found out another one of my better friends was on it. So like- 2011?? ish?

5. What was on here when I left that I wish was still here?

I think the Community fandom was more active back then- obvs. the show was still on air- which is a little bit of a bummer. But I had some friends that I knew in real life from school & stuff that I followed on here and it was so fun to just see what they were into, or what photos they liked or to tag them in stuff- just to keep up with each other. And I miss that a little.

6. What is here now that I wish was here then?

I think everyone is literally so nice on here- it’s such a positive space. And it’s not that it was negative back in the day, but I feel like there’s just so much support for writers, artists, media, even just people trying to get through the day- literally all things. I feel no judgement from my followers. And it’s so nice :’)

8. What was my favorite part of Tumblr then and what is it now?

My favorite part about Tumblr back in the day was probably posting about obscure fandom stuff and just enjoying my little nerdy slice of the internet with my friends. My favorite part now is literally just saying and posting whatever I want lol. Like this is my blog and I love just shamelessly posting stupid crap, and loving on people, and making jokes to myself. ;)

Orbs of maple bolt upwards, leveling swiftly upon the other. Cheeks burn, boldly boasting a crimson. “I ...” Is all she could manage to choke out in a flustered panic. Her voice hitches, words of adamant protest catching in the back of her throat. Pressure tightens her fingers, curling them in the fabric of her skirts as she lets her gaze run wild through the tavern. 

At a loss, Anna bridges the gap between them not wishing to be overheard over the soft mumblings of other conversations. “I’m not sure of what you speak.” The lie falls flat, collapsing like a barn built of rotted wood. The rushing thrum of her heart half betrays her. “I am a married woman in the eyes of the law.” Yet, she did house considerable feelings for Edmund. She’d been harboring them in the shadowy ports of her heart for months now. She hadn’t meant to plant the seeds of affection and let them take root when she told Abraham she’d fix his mistake by watching the officer. Still, that is exactly what they had done. 

The Major is a good and decent man. One she was learning to love despite the apparent differences in politics. “What good would it do should I stop denying?” Eager eyes search the other for an answer. Arguments of logic warred against her dreamer’s heart. “With the war, he will probably take his leave.” 

((Anna’s so deep in denial!!! She loves him so much she’s afraid of losing him. Feel free to keep calling her out. Give her reasons to give in to temptation XDD @afarkingdom))

Um...I haven’t told much about myself on here so: One of my biggest passions is the environment/sustainability/responsible stewardship of the earth. I have a degree in Wildife Ecology & Management and I just got a job working as a Land Conservationist!

Lavender 💜 - what’s your favorite smell?

Ooh, okay, um- this one perfume that one of my mentors wore back when I was in like 8th grade- still have no idea what it was. And a fen- it’s like a mossy bog thing, idk. When I went to one it was a magical place and scent!

13. how do you choose which book to read next? A lot of it is personal taste, like if I feel like reading a contemporary romance I'll pick up a contemporary romance. For the book I'm reading now, I wanted to sink my teeth into a complex and deep worldbuilding, so I picked up Mistborn!

17. do you know any poetry by heart? I know the first section of the Lady of Shalotte by heart (from Anne of Green Gables) but I wouldn't say I know much else. Would love to learn though!

24. do you prefer happy endings or sad endings? both! It depends on the story, and whether the happy or sad ending fits the narrative. I think I like bittersweet endings, where it's kind of a happy ending, but there's also sorrow in it (like A Conjuring of Light, The Book Thief, and The Night Circus).
