🇸🇳⚽ Senegal has denounced CAF's decision to award Morocco its 2025 AFCON trophy as an unacceptable and unfair decision that discredits African football.

The Senegalese Football Federation will submit an appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Switzerland.

"What happened has gone too far. This is not the football we fight for, not the Africa we believe in....", Sadio Mane says in a personal statement.

So tired of people defending that Morocan fan who threw a banana at Nigeria's goalkeeper, stanley nwabali, and those that subsequently went into the streets to make monkey sounds in groups holding bananas to mock black africans, after losing to Senegal. It is both unsportmanly and racist, let's call it what it is not trying to excuse it as "banter". I couldn't attach the video but it's available for all to see on twitter.
