#Cosplayers find #AReasontoSmile at #comiccons, and sometimes you need to help them find what they like. I remember people complaining that they don't buy anything at the shows but if you have art that is in their lane, or interact with them and conversation with them, they'll take home your work. As this woman was walking by my table, I asked if I could tell her about my story. She was kind enough to listen to my pitch and without even looking inside the book, wanted to spend $20 on it and take it home. Remember, many if not most who cosplay (dare I say all?) are fans one way or another. The market has changed, and so we must evolve with it, just like in any industry.
