Hart made his funding for his Bill the Bull omnibus #Kickstarter (in record time) which means that not only will his seminal #UndergroundComic make a killer comeback, but this means this is the definitive return of the legendary indie comics label, #BoneyardPress. Yessss!!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🔥🔥🔥 And in celebration of this, Hart saw fit to use a recent #BillTheBull illustration I did as his cover photo on the book of face. This man, myth, legend- my former boss and mentor in the 90s comics industry, and most importantly, my friend- is the very first person who saw my worth as an artist/cartoonist, creative equal back when I was in highschool and couldn't see it myself, and who was the very first publisher who published my work and gave me my start- inside the pages of a Bill the Bull one shot comic with bad ass #GeorgePerez cover art no less: Bill the Bull: One Shot, One Bourbon, One Beer issue 2! My debut Bill the Bull pin-up done while I was still in highschool is apparently gonna be in this new omnibus, and I couldn't be prouder of the lil' 90s highschool me.
