„Trick or Treat?“

This time I tried something with golden acrylic markers but it didn’t work out exactly how I imagined it.

Here are some progress pictures before I ruined it.

14 – Elijah & Lailah

Backstory: Back when Esperia was still a young nation, cruelty reigned supreme and bloodshed was on daily basis. Pained by this, Dura created twin stars, Elijah and Lailah, to show the Esperian people a better way. Under the twins' gentle guidance, wars were ended, enemies reconciled, and the land entered a state of relative peace. Esperia became a kinder place. Since then, the twins became a symbol of unity and good relationships and it is said that wherever there's a friendly handshake, they're also there, watching over it. However, with the Hypogean invasion breaking out, even the twins have had their hands more than full. Still, they remain hard at work, determined to see things through.

Class: Support

Personal opinion: I was never a fan of the "twins who are a recolored copy of each other and do everything in unison" trope. Their designs are cute and all and they're excellent supports but I can't bring myself to get excited about them more than any other useful hero. Especially the speaking always in unison part kind of gets on my nerves.

Headcanon: Out of all the other Celestials, they're probably the closest to Orthros. With their close relationship to Dura and his adoration of her, it would make sense that they have not only known each other for long but they probably understand each other a lot as well. Not to mention that the ticking of time has a nice and steady rhythm to it so they can use him as a metronome when they practice their dance numbers.
