The Deadly Sins as Hypogeans
Envy: Khazard. He wanted immortality so he betrayed the other Elementals.
Gluttony: Mezoth. He has an insatiable hunger.
Greed: Leofric. He is rich, and pretends to be generous, only to back-stab you.
Lust: Mehira. While her powers don't focus on sex specifically, they play with peoples' desires.
Pride: Mortas. He is tired of being made fun of. He killed those who disrespected him (except the one guy he turned into a Graveborn so the deal he made with the Hypogean powers would last forever)
Sloth: Zikis. He is the laziest of all the Hypogeans, and shows typical lazy cat behavior.
Wrath: Lucretia. Seeing what seemed like an act of betrayal sent her down a dark path of rage and hatred.
Zolrath + lighthearted?
Everyone gets bored of the endless carnage sometimes. Especially if you can travel to any point in time whenever you want to see more of it. Sometimes, Zolrath just wants to see the world descend into a light campfire of chaos, not go up in a blaze of madness. And little things can go a long way: Displacing Mezoth's napkin, replacing Zikis' favorite pillow with an air horn, swapping Mehira's body lotion and Kane's armor oil... Probably his favorite was dragging Mortas to watch Zaphrael and Lucretia's wedding and throwing popcorn in her hair.

Zikis and backstory issues
Rejoice, everyone! We have a clear and understandable backstory!! Yaaay!!!
I won't spoil much, and tbh it's nothing amazing, but hey, at least it's not a confusing mess! Some parts really surprised me, some confused me (with the reasoning behind them, not because they are written to be confusing), and some I had fun with.
Also, we officially have an anti-war character. And he's a Hypogean.
