The restlessness that followed a couple of months after the Promised Day, prompting him and Al both to start traveling again, Ed didn't find that surprising. For almost as long as he could remember he got restless and fidgety after a few days whenever they stopped back in Resembool for him to get tunups and repairs on the automail. The part that surprised him, was that after a few months he actually started spending more time in one place. In Resembool. Maybe it was that there wasn't anything urgent or important to chase after, or fight against, but Ed found himself staying at the Rockbell's shop more and more.
Researching and note taking, traveling to get more materials and meet with more people, but overall he was staying put as much as he was running off lately.
Which lead to helping around when Granny or Winry were busy, or in some cases watching the shop while they both stepped out. That afternoon left Ed to listen for the phone to ring, and occasionally take breaks throwing a stick for Den in the front yard. He smiled as the stick was brought back over before the dog looked over to the fence, ears perking up and barking at the gate. He glanced over and straightened slightly before getting up from the step, "Greed? Didn't think I'd see you be coming by here." he called, smiling and walking over with Den right beside him. Who was looking suspicious by dog standards, but also stretching to sniff in Greed's direction, "What brings you to Resembool?"
