BAR ] (Can be for Fantasy or Modern, whatever you like~)
A tavern and inn known for their mead and wines with an inn upstairs. It seems to be a great place to learn about the sleepy seaside village called Dragon’s Cove.
A young woman quietly steps beneath the hanging sign adorn by the tavern’s name and by a rather comical picture of a dragon with a mug brimming with beer. The door opens with a strong push, allowing the adventurer inside. Perhaps she can find any leads that could help her quest. There are more people than she thought. Musical tunes accompany the chatter of the patrons mixed with laughter from barmaids and the soft crackle of the fire burning in the stone hearth. The embers made the newcomer nervous, but she presses on, knowing that she needs to be here.
There are rumors that some unsavory people meet here and mutter devious plots involving an underground operations. Slave trade is outlawed in the kingdoms near and far, but there are still the few who keep that business alive. Captives become commodities in exchange for wealth. Such a vile profession. It lives on like a ravenous serpent that feasts on innocent lives for selfish desires.
Her goal is to find the people responsible for the ring and take them out one by one. After all, the best way to kill a beast is to cut off its head. The Earl of Misty Falls shared the same sentiment when he hired the woman to take care of business.
Black boots continue their trek across the tavern. The aroma of cooking meats and fresh bread mingle with beer and mead. A bard continues to play his lute to the listeners while Harmony makes her way to a small table at the far corner of the room.
“’Ello, miss! What will ye have?” A female wood elf greets Harmony with a sweet smile with her long dark hair in twin braids. A slender hand fetches the purse strapped beneath her belt. Harmony loosens its drawstring. “I’ll take a pint of rhodomel. Ah, is there also a room available for tonight?” Harmony asks and the elf nods. “Of course! That will be twelve gold pieces, please!” Dark, twinkling eyes watch as Harmony gives a nod and takes out the necessary amount of gold before handing it over to the maid.
“Thanks! I’ll be back with yer drink and key ta yer room.” She turns away from the traveler who remains in her wooden chair. Harmony slips the purse back to where it belongs. She listens silently for any lead to her mission. Little did Harmony know that tonight, she may come across another adventurer, a mercenary who may come to her aid on the daunting task.
