Hey 432...Sorry for being out for long. I was inside of Kiel's shadow since it's the only shadow I can hide in, but for some reason I'm out.

...I don't know why I'm out, but at least I can talk to you. Even if it's for a little bit.

432 suddenly hears someone speaking to her through one of the shards she has gathered around herself. She's gotten better at manipulating the shards lately, after having watched and learned from that foolish ghost. She's starting to really understand their placement in the In Between and how to keep certain ones nearby. Ones that might be more useful than others. Similar to having a Rolodex.

She goes over to investigate the one where the voice is coming from.

Oh. It's that guy again. She wonders what he wants.

She presses her energy up against the side of the shard and transmits some of her energy through it, down into the nearest computer or phone or tablet or similar to where Teddie is.

What do you wish to talk about?

432...I'm sorry for what I did. ...You didn't deserve the pain I tried inflicted on... ...I doubt I'll be forgiven for what I did. ...The reason I did that was because I was order to by my ex-boss, but I was deemed useless. ...Can I get to know you instead. I won't inflicted the pain even though you don't feel them anymore.

If 432 had eyes, she would be narrowing them at the message she just received. How she is even receiving messages out here in the In Between is beyond her, but all the same, there it is, and she really wishes she had eyes now.

"You don't have to do the things you're told to do, you know - especially if you know they're shitty," is what she sends back on the other's computer screen, because she has no voice and cannot speak. "You're an idiot for not knowing the difference."

She wants to crush this little idiot, whoever he is, with one of her rooms, but... no one has ever expressed interest in getting to know her, not since her.

That makes her mad.

"You really want to get to know me? How about I get to know you first?"

432...Merry Christmas. I have a present for you. It's a Hello Kitty plushie. But, it's not any old Hello Kitty plushie, it's a Badtz-Maru plushie. I figure you like this one....at least, I hope you do since I'm not even sure if you like plushies or not. If you don't, that's fine. I'm not going to mock you for it. ...Besides, I have friends who judged me for who I am...and I don't think anyone would try to befriend a shadow like me...

432 feels like Teddie is trying to get at something. She can't exactly tell what just yet, but there's a point he's trying to make.

Fine. She'll let him try to make it, though she has no idea why he keeps coming back to her. She has never gone out of her way to say anything to him or do anything for him. She has never sought him out for anything, yet here he is again, offering a gift to her again.

...She's starting to feel like a stray cat that someone is trying to lure out from under their porch.

Is that Teddie's point? He sees her as some stray creature in need of saving?

That... pisses her off.

Although the Badtz-Maru plushie is very cute. And she does love it. And want it.

You seem desperate to get me to take these plushies from you, Teddie. Is this a hobby for you now? Very well, go ahead and leave it on the desk you made for me. Perhaps one of these days someone will figure out how to resurrect the dead and put me back together, and then I'll be able to actually do anything with it.

It's been far too long for Teddie to be in his human form. But, since it's Halloween and he feels that 432 would be lonely doing the time, he ended up dressing up as Alice from Alice in wonderland. He also has a bucket of candy, the good candies, for 432 to eat. but then again, 432 can't eat. Well, it's the thoughts that count. " Trick or treat. ...Or, in this case, reverse trick or treat. I'm not sure if you can eat anything, but I figure I'll give you the bucket full of candy. ...Don't worry, it's the good candy kind. So, happy Halloween, 432." @aforgottenshadow

Teddie is right.

432 cannot eat.

So being presented with candy, regardless of the time of year, she finds rather offensive.

She replies:

Thank you so much for this bucket full of candy I can't eat, much less discern whether or not it is the 'good' kind. I don't know what you expect me to do with it other than stare at it from time to time.

I have an idea. Since you provided the treat, perhaps I may provide the trick.

She doesn't elaborate any further than that, but if Teddie doesn't leave her alone immediately, she might try to hurt him.
