Off to Houston for the African Princes of Comedy Show!!!
After an amazing night of concerts at the south by southwest music festival in Austin Texas. Akua is off to Houston for the African princes of comedy show!!
It was held at the beautiful Ayva center. There were over a thousand people in the audience. The VP of Arik air, Queen Akua and his guests enjoyed the show from VIP seating. Comedians Cheif Obi, Foxy P, Aphrican ape, Ebaby Kobby, Clifford Owusu and many others graced the stage that evening, with the obnoxious and hilarious wowoboyz as the hosts. There were individual performances as well as skits or live plays that had the audience laughing hard, sides aching and all.
There was good music too. The entertaining musician Ice Prince had the audience’s heads bobbing and singing along enthusiastically.

“It was very refreshing to see how close these comedians were to each other. They share a bond and there is so much energy and positivity in the room when they are present. I feel blessed to have met them in person and see them prepare to get on stage, they get butterflies just like anyone would. But when they step out on the stage they are in a different world and it just flows out, that’s how you know they are doing what they love and they were meant to do this, to make us laugh and forget our worries even if its just for a little bit. Its a blessing, what they do, it truly is”

Queen Akua recalls her highlight of the night was of Clifford Owusu calling her up on stage. “He’s really down to earth and so positive as a person. He had me laughing backstage, during the show and when he called me up stage.” Shout out to Clifford Owusu for showing our Queen love.
Foxy P’s African Princes of Comedy Houston was definitely a success and we are thankful our Queen attended representing Ghana.
