TENIKWA WILDLIFE AWARENESS AND REHABILITATION CENTRE - THE CRAGS, PLETTENBERG BAY. My second visit to Tenikwa and I have to say that I am thrilled with the approach that the centre are taking to get guests up to close to the animals without any physical interaction. A recent addition to the offer is that you can now also stay over at Tenikwa which makes the whole experience so much more exciting. Our stay included sundowners, a delicious home cooked dinner and then an early morning walk called “Wild Ways” which takes you on a route through the fynbos and allows you to stop along the way and observe the cheetah. Thrilling to see cheetah so close. My African wild cat kittens almost ready for release. Will be sad to see them go but I know they're ready!! Already very skilled hunters. Will be relocated to a rural settlement as part of a pest control initiative in an attempt to stop the community using rat poison resulting in the deaths of countless owls. #africanwildcat #conservation #owlconservation #naturalpredators #kitten
