Many people don't love hair. I know most of them who don't like it. They say its cluttered and dirty. They make people with it feel bad about themselves. Yes, that's why this is an era of wigs and weaves- ladies have embraced it! Every time you go without a wig, someone will tell you that your hair looks brown-ish, spiky, frizzy, bushy, and messy and in your defence, you smirk and tell them, "It is bad hair day!" You cut it and it feels like the way a beard must feel. It doesn't feel good. It's like scratching a mosquito bite. Well, I wouldn't shave it again. These streets started calling me Rasta- this is the ghetto! Well, it never sounds good. So I shaved my hair. Yes, I did! I got home, I started pressing hands through my head, I could feel spiky sharp standing hairs sticking my palms. No fluff. No crown. No soft. Just pix. Flattop. Bowl cut. Crew cut. I realized then that hair is on our heads for a reason- it's the leaf around the flower, the lawn around the house. You have to love hair in order to love the head. You can't pick the parts you want. P.s. Pips who read V*g*na monologues relate.
